Would anyone be interested in taking part in a sabbat wars sealed deck
tournament in Portsmouth at Second Byte? I would appreciate it if all
interested parties could either respond to the newsgroup or mail me
privately.
my mail address is : john-...@second-byte.freeserve.co.uk
The exact date will depend on when the expansion comes out in this country,
Anam tells me it will not make the october 31st date in this country, any
clarification from those in the know would be much appreciated.
Price will be between 10-15 pounds stearling.

I'm not sure how the Sabbat War is priced up in England (you'd know
better, being a games shop, of course).
However, 99% of Sabbat War boosters will have 2 vampires, 1% will have
3. (These are LSJ's revised figures, it was originally 66% verus 33%).
All players will need at least 6 boosters, therefore, to get a workable
crypt - and probably more like 8, to get some choice.
And I should hopefully be able to attend, University work permitting.

I seem to recall that he said 3 vamps was the norm, with 1% having 2
vampires. Could be wrong though.
count us both in even if we are in either glasgow or newcastle :) ian
may not play though as he thinks he's crap at sealed stuff but will
probably do it for the boosters.
as far as I am aware, lsj revised the cards to 3 vamp and 8 libs biut
due to the printers it may end up with 1 in 10 packs having only 2
vamps - could be wrong.
see ya soon

Michael and i will be there at least. If we restrict it to 4-player
tables we could do a precon-deck tournament. It would probably have to
be scored as a league, tho

Now that's a good idea. Maybe randomly distribute the various decks.
When are they out ? I though it was the boosters first ?
Sounds cool if possible.

During my rounds of the trades hall at Gencon, and also chatting to
Tim, the consencus was that Sabbat War will be availible in the UK from
November 14th. It is still on track for a US launch on 31st October,
but international distribution will hold things up for us.
In any event, I am well up for it. count me in.

My apologies.
I have, indeed, got that the wrong way round.
3 in 99% and 2 in 1%.

This is correct.
Most (99%) Sabbat War packs will have 3 vampires and 8 library cards.
A very few (1%) will have 2 vampires and 9 library cards.
