These came up last night in our group: 1. Can multiple blood dolls be played on the same vampire? 2. Can Rotschrek be played on a vampire trying to play a Rutor's Hand? We said no because there was no combat involved, and Rot says combat ends before damage is resolved. Correct? 3. Can master discipline cards (celerity, potence, etc) be played on another player's vamps? The cards say "Play on a vampire", not play on one of your vampires. Thanks, Mark

With 2 blood dolls, you can take up to 2 blood on or off during your master phase. > 2. Gosh, I'm not sure of that one. I'll pass. I'd say no, because the first sentence strongly implies that two minions must be involved, and the remaining context confirms this by assuming a combat situation. Also, it is questional if he is really "trying" to inflict Ag damage on himself, since this is just an unwanted side effect of what he is trying to do. In case you were not aware, Rotshreck effects the target of Ag Damage, not the person attempting to inflict it. Rotschreck is the self-preservation instinct of vampires that sends them to torpor when faced with something that could destroy them. > 3. You can take 2 blood off, for example. > 2. Correct? *laughs* Oh my, that _would_ be funny. The look on the guy's face alone... But you are correct. > 3. I have a Setite voting deck that steals other people's titled vampires to help me pass votes. If they don't already have Presence, I give it to them. I used to have a Setite deck that stole other vampires, put Protean on them and used them to bleed with Return to Innocence and Hideous Countenance. (I didn't have many Day Ops.) I tore it apart a long time ago because it was much too rude for a social game. Noal -- "DISCUSSION, n. Right; Rotschreck only applies to a minion's attempt to use agg damage against his opponent in combat. > > 3.
