I have a question on the interaction of WWEF and 2nd Tradition. Consider the following two cards: Doofus, the Amazing Stealth Monkey (Ape) Unique Malkavian Ally 2 pool 2 life, 0 hand damage, 2 bleed Once per action, Doofus may play an action modifier requiring Obfuscate as if he possessed the superior version of that Discipline. Any cost in blood is paid for with his life; if a card would give him blood, give him life. If Doofus is burned in combat, the Methuselah controlling the opposing minion gains 2 pool. Vulgar, the puppet Gangrel 5 capacity ANI for Prince of Minneapolis Vulgar may not take actions that require a Prince. Doofus bleeds. Vulgar is tapped, and plays WWEF to block. Doofus whips out a Lost in Crowds for +2 stealth. Can Vulgar play the Second Tradition: Domain? Or does WWEF render him 'untapped' for purposes of qualifying for the 'tapped' requirement of Second Tradition? The crux of the question seems to be: How 'untapped' is the faux-untapped state granted by WWEF? gomi -- kono sora wo daite kagayaku, shounen yo shinwa ni nare.

The awakened vampire (Vamp2) is not untapped in any sense - although he *may* block and player reaction cards *as if* untapped. He is free to play Domain, since he is tapped (as required by the VTES version of Domain) and needs the intercept. -- L.
