I just got an email from news.individual.net that they will soon no longer be a free newsfeed. does anyone know a good alternate free news feed? or should i just get off my butt and hassle my isp to carry rec.games.trading-cards.jyhad? I typed the following into google "news server" +free chose the second link ... http://freenews.maxbaud.net/ and then selected servers added 2005-02-16 Amongst these I selected the first one with posting allowed aioe.cjb.net And my news reader automatically picked it up and downloaded the groups. I found rec.games.trading-cards.jyhad and read the latest post in the tenebrous form thread. [ quoted text not captured ]

If DejaNews had offered a chance to keep them in business and online as a paying member I would have been all over it. Just look at the Google crap we have to put up with now compared to the sleek sophisticated clean look of DejaNews circa 1997.
