Okay, so the new Marcus Vitel is Sabbat. Advancement rules say: When merged, the vampire has the special abilities of both the base and advanced cards. The rest of the base card is ignored (capacity, Disciplines, etc.). The advancement card applies in full. Some merged cards have an additional effect that only applies when the two cards are merged. This effect is identified in the card text by a "merged" icon. I presume "the rest of the base card is ignored" rule includes Sect. Therefore, if you advance Marcus, he becomes Sabbat, and can no longer hold the title of Prince, since only Camarilla vamps can be princes. So, by paying 4 transfers and 1 pool, you get the honour of having your shiny new Marcus with POT getting the shite beat out of him by every Brujah on the table, and him being "advanced" so he has an ability he already had in his unadvanced form? Am i correct, or have I missed something? noodleboy "a little boy's best friend is always his mother, at least that's what she said."

You have POT, but also have a Marcus wich grants +2 BLEED to each sabbat vampire you control if the meth you bleed controls a ready camarilla vampire. Which sounds great to me =)

[ quoted text not captured ] Haven't seen ADv Marcus , but the +1 bleed to all sabbat bleeding camarilla of basic marcus only applies while he is a Prince, so if the advanced is a Sabbat Lasombra, the merged looses that ability (unless he gets cam again, so he regains the Princedom of Washington.) Someone could post the adv. version of marcus? Smiling Tom, The Anarch

By becoming Sabbat, Marcus lose his Prince title, and thus the special ability being Prince gives him. If you advance him, he gets the same special he had on his old version. Hence, by advancing him, you lose his votes, his specials stay exactly the same as they were on the CE version, he gets POT, but can be rushed by Brujah. Losing two votes and making him a target for any brujah on the table is not worth POT and turning him into a Sabbat Lasombra IMHO. But, that's just me. noodleboy

[ quoted text not captured ] nice catch !! whoaa... too bad. you have to play writ of acceptance and a praxis seizure to get the +2 bleed ;)
