Janvier Montiya Rescue ruling req.

Just a quick question; if Janvier Montoya (Tremere 9) is used to supply the blood requirement for resquing a Tremere from torpor, the cost is 1 less <blood>. How about if he is used in conjunction with The Chantry to rescue a Tremere from torpor? Does the 1 blood cost of The Chantry become 0 blood or what?
