hi ! combat ! opposing vampire has one blood on him. My vamp has 2 blood and garrote on him. Can i play lucky blow with the garrote to burn opposing vamp (thus burning the garrote) ? Can i play tornsignpost then strike with the garrote to burn opponent ? Can i play sword of the righteous and strike with the garrote to burn opponent ? Is "strike : X damage" and " X damage each strike " different wording for the same thing ? reyda

Do you even have to strike with the Garrote to send your opponent to torpor in order to burn both? The wording on Garrote seems to indicate that your opponent can go to torpor however and you can still burn it to burn the opposing vamp. Sorrow --- If you're frightened of dying and... and you're holding on, you'll see devils tearing your life away. But if you've made your peace, then the devils are really angels, freeing you from the earth.

Wording on Garrote indicates otherwise, actually (emphasis added): "If the opposing vampire goes into torpor during the strike resolution step of *this strike* ..." [ quoted text not captured ]

Hmm, ok. Didn't seem that way to me, but now that you point it out I see it now. Sorrow --- "...but you know, evil is an exact science..."
