When a vampire plays Undead Persistance, he is prevented from going to torpor for the moment (long enough to play "not useable by a vampire going to torpor" effects) and if he is able to successfully use the optional press, another round of combat begins. If no additional presses are supplied in the second round, the persistant vampire must now go to torpor. Can another UP be played to again delay the trip to torpor? Would two Ghoul Retainers making use of the same Wooden Stake for the purposes of a strike satisfy the Wooden Stake's requirement for more than 1 damage being dealt? Thanks. No. The persistent vampire doesn't go to torpor until combat ends. Since combat has ended, combat cards (like UP) cannot be played. > Would two Ghoul Retainers making use of the same Wooden Stake for the > purposes of a strike satisfy the Wooden Stake's requirement for more > than 1 damage being dealt?
