Without overriding card text, nothing can affect uncontrolled anythings. It may be played on vampires in torpor, tho' since again, it does not have card text restricting such use. Without overriding card text, any card that may be played on a vampire doesn't care whether the vampire is Ready or in Torpor. -- L. Blood Doll (at least in the Jyhad version) has restrictive text that it can only be played one one of *your* vampires. This restriction exists to prevnt playing the card on one of your opponent's vampires Not to prevent you from playing it on an uncontrolled vampire (which you can't do anyhow, because of the implicit restriction mentioned above). Well, no, because it's the controller of the vampire that moves blood onto and off of it. If you play Blood Doll on one of my vampires, you're only doing me a favor.
