Stupid Malkavian/Antitribu question

This is for clarification within our group. Nosferatu deck, Malkav Antitribu deck. Nos deck plays Malkavian Dementia. Attempts to steal Hannibal (Malk Anti Cardinal). Rule 10.2 only refers to requirements for playing a card. Excerpt 10.2. A vampire of one of the antitribu clans does not qualify to play a card that requires the counterpart, and vice versa. It would seem to intimate that it would also mean can't be the target of said card also, but that kind of fell on deaf ears. So, just for the record, there is no mechanical similarity between Anarch Gangrel, Malkavian, and Malkavian antitribu. IE, the name is nothing more than a label, and Malk-Antitribu could quite easily have been called Sons of Dementia? Morgan Vening

An Anarch Gangrel, an Independent Gangrel, and a Camarilla Gangrel (and a Gangrel turned Sabbat by Into the Fire), are all Gangrel. But a Gangrel Antitribu is *not* a Gangrel (even if the Gangrel Antitribu has managed to join the Camarilla). And a Gangrel is *not* a Gangrel Antitribu. Same goes for all "Foo" and "Foo Antitribu".
