Hello, In our weekly session last wek several questions popped up on a few cards. The most important of which is: Charming Lobby: does the "next vote automatically passes" passage mean that the next vote called takes an action to call? Does the player of Lobby have to do the second vote immediately? If he doesn't, does the _next_ vote (no matter who calls it) pass? -prophet ============================================================================== The above opinions are my own, as I wouldn't condescend to speak for anyone else. -Ryan Gentry, RA/Gamer/Student...*cough* ==============================================================================

Does : the player of Lobby have to do the second vote immediately? : If he doesn't, does the _next_ vote (no matter who calls it) pass? First, remember that the new ruling on Sudden Reversal is that it takes 3 vampires to use effectively; 1st - plays SR 2nd - calls 1st vote (which we'll say passes) 3rd - calls 2nd vote, which automatically passes due to influence of CL. What I wanted to know was - was it the _next_ vote or the next vote called by _me_? (or even more restrictive, the next vote called by me _this turn_?) The answer I got was that he thought it was the _next_ vote, and the card would 'carry over' to other people's turns (and therefore would also carry over to later in your own turn if you wanted to delay it). He wasn't 100% positive on it and was going to submit the question to the design team. The design team ruled that the next vote must be called as an action one the same turn, or the Lobby is wasted. That ruling is under dispute. Being blocked does not waste the automatic vote, as the voting never happens. (Also from the DTR, 11/9/94)
