I have a tournament on the 16th of June. I believe that the FN promo-vampires are allowed in the tournament, but what about the FN non-promo versions of the very same vampires? The WW homepage does say that promo-Fatima will "differ superficially from the preconstructed deck version."

Of what I've heard Fatima isn't differing in cardsize or in a way to make her distinguishable up-side down, but if she is, then you need to have your cards in plastic sleeves to include her in a tournament.

[ quoted text not captured ] The promo vampires will be legal for play at that time. Final Nights cards will not be legal at that time. Since there's (hopefully) no way to distinguish the Final Nights Hesha from the promo Hesha, you can treat all Hesha's the same. The Final Nights version of Fatima will not be playable until the new rules and card changes for Final Nights are in effect, which is at the time the set becomes legal for tournament play. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. Do we have any advance notice of the card changes? Since, presumably, all the card text changes have been finalised - and any rules changes should be very close to being cast in stone, if not totally fixed - would it be possible to have advance notice of them? It would, I'm sure, allow people to conduct smoother tournaments if they can let people know in advance that, <blah> now actually does <blooble> in advance. -- James Coupe PGP Key: 0x5D623D5D EBD690ECD7A1F What's the meaning when you speak with so much feeling? We've got the time between when the set is released and when it becomes tourney-legal. That's one of the reasons for the delay in a set becoming tourney-legal in the first place. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. I was thinking more of avoiding havoc at any release day unofficial tournaments, or whatever. [ quoted text not captured ]
