I'm sure that this has been asked before, but I'm rather new to this game. If I steal a card from another player (with say, form of corruption) and this player is ousted, do I keep the card until the end of the game or it's burned with all the cards that player had?

All the cards that player controls leaves with that player. All the cards that you control (or your minions control) stay. Sorrow --- "I am Jack's inflamed sense of rejection." - Narrator

Though, in practical terms, if a player has been ousted and needs to leave, a judge can give you a proxy card to prevent problems. -- James Coupe "I think Christmas has lost it's meaning... That reminds me...I have a question about who controls Master cards played on other player's minions. Does a Fame, Haven Uncovered, or Master:Discipline card that was played on a different (not ousted) player's minion leave when the Methuselah who played it is ousted? It's not clear to me that the controller of the card isn't the Methuselah who played it - I can't find anywhere where it says that the control of the master card changes just because you played it on another Methuselah's minion. We've been playing - for some reason which now seems illogical - that master cards DO go, and that cards like Pulled Fangs and Fleshcraft don't go. What's right? I didn't find a clear answer in the rules.

That question is answered in 1.6.2 "Master Cards". > Does a Fame, Haven Uncovered, or Master:Discipline card that was > played on a different (not ousted) player's minion leave when the > Methuselah who played it is ousted? Correct, it doesn't. > We've been playing - for some reason which now seems illogical - that > master cards DO go, and that cards like Pulled Fangs and Fleshcraft > don't go. Correct. See 1.6.3 "Minion Cards" for rules on control of minion cards. > What's right? I didn't find a clear answer in the rules. 1.6.2 and 1.6.3 should provide clarity enough. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
