Ousted with temporary control over another player's card?

This happened today at the Phoenix Imperator Storyline: Player B used an Imperator Deck Malkavian Dementia to steal her predator's (Player A's) Lucian. During the intervening turn, Player A had the opportunity to oust Player B but inquired what would become of Lucian. It seemed to me I had remember some special rule or rules or ruling about the disposition of a temporarily-controlled card but could find none and was forced to conclude that Lucian would be removed from the game and returned to Player A's deck after the end of the game. (The reverse, if Player A were ousted, appears to result in Lucian being removed from the game at the start of Player B's next turn.) Given that ruling, Player A chose not to pursue Player B's oust that particular turn. Did I have a brain fart and screw up or was that the correct ruling? Fred
