good news: (this is maily for Legbiter) just to let you know i know finally have a deck of my own. and its all my own work. and i won on wednesday night. took 3 vps and would have got more but john ousted himself and me with a vote :( just to let you know o wise one. bad news: We cannot make gencon due to hospital being very strict on the travelling rules and our wallets emitting moths :( (this is where i grovel and say sorry to the irish lots who i promised i would play) does everyone know that the actually Vtes game starts at 10am - which you have to register before hand to play - unlike gaelcon which had some very strage registraions going on. ;) anyway rules question: 1) haven uncovered: if A puts haven on B (B is not the prey or predator). B trys to burn the haven: i) does A get to intercept automatically and ii) is it at +1 intercept to match the +1 stealth?? 2) living manse: is this errated to say 'unique location' ? 3) catatonic fear: whats the correct card text ? 4) vp's: two players left (A+B) A calls autarktis persecution (ie all players lose 5 pool) - this would oust himself and B i) does this happen simultaneoulsy? ii) who gets what victory points? ie does A get one for B and one for last person on the table or do they both just get one VP or do they get no VPs ??? anyway thats it for today. anam btw: somebody tell Jon (from southhampton crowd) that i sent him his card via Barney address. he should get it saturday. cheers

The action to burn a card is directed at the controller of the card (or is undirected if the controller is the same as the controller of the acting minion). In this case, the action is directed at the controller of the Haven: A. As a directed action, only A's minions can attempt to block. The attempts are not automatically successful. The attempt is at +1 stealth, and for any block to be successful, the blocker must have intercept greater than or equal to the acting minion's stealth. > 2) living manse: > is this errated to say 'unique location' ? No. > 3) catatonic fear: > whats the correct card text ? Combat. Presence. Inferior: Strike: Combat Ends. Superior: As above, and the opposing minion takes 1 damage (after combat ends). > 4) vp's: > two players left (A+B) > A calls autarktis persecution (ie all players lose 5 pool) - this > would oust himself and B > i) does this happen simultaneoulsy? Yes. > ii) who gets what victory points? ie does A get one for B and one for > last person on the table or do they both just get one VP or do they > get no VPs ??? Rulebook: "If a player is ousted at the same time that her prey is ousted, the player gets the ante and victory point but does not gain six pool." They both get a VP for ousting their respective preys. -- LSJ (vte...@wizards.com) V:TES Net.Rep for Wizards of the Coast.
