Yes Ramses III's Tomb is cool. ;)
Here's some I liked in my packs:
Memory's Fading Glimpse (3 vamp blood & Obfuscate) Directed. Move a
vampire from your prey's inactive region to the bottom of his/her crypt.
Move all of the blood on that vampire to your prey's blood pool. Bold:
As above, but move on blood from the inactive vampire to the acting
vampire.
Lure of the Serpent: (1 vamp blood & Serpentis) Directed. The acting
vampire takes control of a retainer controlled by another vampire.
Bold: Take control of an ally controlled by another methuselah.
Uncontrollable Rage [Reaction] (2 vamp & Protean) Only usable when the
acting vampire's action is announced. This acting minion get +1 agg.
hand damage until the end of this action. Bold: +2
The Death of My Consciense [Combat] (3 vamp & Potence) Requires a
vampire with capacity above 5. Do not replace until after combat.
After range has been chosen, burn up to 4 cards in you hand. For each
card you burn this way, the vampire gets +1 hand damage for the
remainder of the combat. Do not replace these cards until after combat.
Bold: As above, with +2
I'm not sure, but the above are all uncommon/rare I think. THe commons
seemed to be in the front of the packs. *shrug*
I do like this one for one of my decks. :)
Alacrity. Celerity and 2 vamp.
+1 stealth. Bold: As above and if blocked, gain an optional manuever in
first round of combat. Fits in a Torrie bleed deck well. :) Specially
with some of the other cards. ;)

Actually, it's an Action Modifier. Good for a Bum's Rush; either way,
you get into combat and kick some butt...

Although a vampire with superior potence could in theory take down and IC
vampire with this card in combo with a Torn Signpost, I didn't find it that
useful, and for the following reasons:
1. You have to pitch cards to get the bonus. I don't about the rest of
you, but I run my decks so tight that every card in my hand is useful and
not really "ho-hum, pitch it" material.
2.All this blustering of cards and damage can sidestepped with a simple
dodge or combat ends and you've just whizzed away good cards from your hand.
Sure combat decks tend to like to cycle cards, but the benefits of this
card were marginal at best as I saw it used all night last night. Any
other opinions on this one?

Except when somebody blocks your bum's rush then the BUM's and the
modifier go away... D'OH!!!! But I suppose since you are playing Gangrel,
this is not a real big deal.
I found it really useful in conjuntion with "Thoughts Betrayed" in my
Brujah/Giovanni deck. So any of the cards I discarded were always
available to me later (Necromany is getting better). It was really nice
having the "Dreams of the Sphinx" card in play which as one of it's
optional actions allowed me too go up to 2 extra cards in my hand until
the end of my turn. Very nice.

The really ugly thing about this card is the fact that it's for the remainder
of combat.. even without Grapples or TB, you're bound to hit them sometime if
you're playing a Brujah bruise deck... a few additional strikes and presses..
and it's almost guaranteed torpor..

I think this card is feeble compared to fists of death. Brujah got nothing in
the way of vampires and only got good celerity cards in AH while the other
combat clans got major boosting and Ventrue become in my opinion the best
clan. Ventrue now have Combat, Bleeding, Bleed Defense and Voting all in one
clan. Kiss of Ra, Day Op, Deflection, and lots of ways to gain votes.

This card really isn't feeble compared to FoD because you only need to hit
once to put them in torpor.. +8 damage is a LOT of damage.. even if you do
only have 2 cards left in your hand.. if one of them is a blur (or better
yet.. an acrobatics.. or a blur and a dodge) it is almost guaranteed torpor..
since one hit will do upwards of nine damage (at superior..).. and with
a signpost.. it'd be torpor even for IC members... granted.. it doesn't work
that well against Fortitude.. but what does, except maybe Thaumaturgy..

But Celerity is the staple of any really good Brujah deck (IMHO).. Celerity
is already too powerful because it has sooooo many dodges and additional
strikes.. and Brujah can already vote.. cheap princes and presence make them
faster at voting than the Ventrue, if not altogether better.. and Ventrue
still aren't the combat monsters Brujah are... simply because of Celerity..
my only real complaint is scorpion sting.... that card really destroy almost
all the usefulness of Celerity.. except with Guns.. and Anachronsim kinda
took care of that..

I still think Torn Signpost, Undead Strength for 5 and 1 FoD for 7, 2 for 9 or
3 for 11 is a better way to go. All the cards are replaced and you only spend
as much blood as you really need. The only thing is FoD is rare. I'll stick
with blurred signposts for 9, thank you.
Woody Carey <wca...@gladstone.uoregon.edu> writes:

The modifiers do *not* go away when an action is blocked.
Stealth still hangs around (in the event the action gets continued).
Some modifiers only apply to blocked actions (Dawn Op, Alacrity, etc.)
Alacrity (Cel:2: +1 stealth *As above and this vampire gets an optional
maneuevr in the first round of combat if the action is blocked) would
be pretty silly if it didn't apply to a blocked action.
The whole point of using a Bum's Rush with Uncontrollable Rage is to
ensure that you get into combat. Few people would block a bleed from
a gangrel (who don't normally bleed for much) when they know that the
Gangrel is going to be punching for 2 agg. This way - they block the Rush
or they don't - someone still gets slapped for 2 agg (unless combat
is ended or he strike is dodged or the "victim" maneuvers away, etc).

Death of my Conscience has one huge thing going for it: No need for a
combo.
While Torn Signpost, Undead Strength, Fists of Death can give you 3 cards
for 5 or 7 damage and only 1 blood, DoMC can do, for one card, up to +8
damage per strike. Yes, the blood cost is more, the cards are not
replaced, and only old vampires can use it, but DoMC need not have all of
the cards show up at once to be damaging. DoMC and even a Nimble Feet
are disgusting.
One thing I think DoMC really combats is the horribly strong Ravnos
combat deck (no joke) loaded with Trap, Drawing out the Beast, and
Apparations (along with other minor damage prevention). When you have
Ravnos Trapping and preventing 6 damage each round, things get ugly.

Well, since the added damage only applies to /Potence/ strikes, it
is only useful in combination with a potence strike card (or two :-).

I think the advantage of DoMC is not that it's that awesome a combat card
but that it allows you to discard cards you can't use, or can't use now.
If you have 4 masters in your hand at the beginning of the turn, ditching
all, or all but one of them, will help you a lot even if you get no other
benefit from the discard. Here you also get a meaningful benefit.

Reading Death of My Conscience again, there is no need to play potence
strikes. DoMC works just fine by itself (and some tossed cards).

You don't need a card to strike with your hand but this card only
applies to strikes that use potence. A torn Signpost or even Fist of
Death is not a strike. This applies to cards like Mighty grapple.

No, you do not need a Potence strike to use DoMC:
The Death of My Coonscience (Combat) 3 Blood/Potence
Requires a vampire with a capacity above 5. Do not replace until after
combat.
After range has been chosen, burn up to 4 cards in your hand. For each
card you burn this way, this vampire gets +1 hand damage for the remainder
of this combat. Do not replace these cards until after combat. Superior:
As above, but this vampire gets +2 hand damage for the remainder of combat
for each card you burn this way.
You are thinking of Increased Strength:
Increased Strength (Combat) Potence
Only usable before range is chosen. This vampire gets +1 damage on all
strikes requiring Potence for the rest of the combat.
Superior: As above, but with +2 damage.

And increased str has an advantage over the sign post and FOD in that
it applies to thrown gates, sewer lids and cars.
Less damage more flexability...

Well thats what I get for replying without checking the card.
Increased strength was what I was thinking of.
This card is okay to clear your hand, especially for Nos with too much
