Can I use boolean expressions in my questions? Like: Do you have wake AND intercept on your hand?
Does the "pertaining to the game" part exclude questions that are a little about the game and a
little non-about the game? Example: Do I control the Monocle of clarity AND have you slept with my
sister? =)

If you can answer it with a "yes" or a "no", I'd figure you can ask anything
you want:
"Does your hand contain a Wake, an Enahnced Senses, a card providing a
press, and a Walk of Flame?"
"No"
"Ok then. Here I come..."

Beware, beware...

Of course, if my hand contains a Wake, Enhanced Senses, and a card
providing a press, then I'm still going to answer "no" to that question.
And if you make the question unintelligible enough (with multiple
cross-referenced boolean values referring to this, that, AND the other
such that you have to read it from an index card) I'll say "no" and then
say I got confused by the question. =)

Well clearly. If you don't have all of the above, the answer is "no" :-)

Always a good reason to ask simple yes and no questions:
"Can you stop me?"
"Yes?"

Or clearly defined situations behind the yes-or-no question:
"Can you block a zero-stealth bleed with those 7 cards?"
"If I play no combat cards and strike hands for one, can you send my
vampire to torpor this turn?"

no, since cards are sadly unable to block :(

yes, since you could of course minion tap it to 0 with me blocking your hunt

But what if his sister was part of the game? Ante or a trophy for the tournament? =D

Fortunately "you" are able to block in certain situations (although,
yes, "you" are not a card).

Way back when the game first came out, one female in our then-local
group offered herself up as the Edge - whoever had it got to have her
sit in their lap. Which she offered in part so she could then look at
that person's hand, ask them questions, and actually learn how to play
the game... or so she claimed.
Amazingly enough, nobody seemed to object to this offer..
