Hello LSJ and all. I have some questions as to whether Mask of 1K Faces and Hidden Lurker can be used effectively against Thoughts Betrayed. Specifically: Suppose I bleed with Tusk, and Lizette Visquel blocks. Before combat is entered, Lizette playes TB, intending to make mincemeat out of Tusk with a Potence/Pulled Fanges combo in the ensueing combat. However, after combat is entered and before range is chosen, Lucretia plays Mask of 1K Faces to take over the combat (she can do this, right?), and Lizette finds to her surprise that it is not really Tusk after all. Question is, can Lucretia now play cards? TB card text states that "Opposing minion cannot use any cards until after combat", so do the words "opposing minion" in this case apply to any opposing minion in that combat, or merely to whoever was the opposing minion at the time the card was played (Tusk in this case)? Second question. Suppose that Lizette survives the combat with Lucretia. As soon as the combat ends, Tusk playes Hidden Lurker to enter combat with Lizette a second time. According to errata, Hidden Lurker is an action modifier. Since there is no opportunity to block, then arguably combat is entered the instant the card is played. Question is, does Lizette get an opportunity to play another TB card from her hand, or is it already too late? Thanks in advance John W.

It is not played outside of combat as a Action Modifier. Thus M1000F could not be played after TB.

Moot. But, as a thought experiment: TB would continue to apply to Lucretia. She is the "opposing minion" and TB is a continuing effect. > Second question.
