I've got a question about Astrid, and was wondering if there had been any official clarification on her. She's the Tremere Primogen who forces other Tremere to change their votes to agree with her. The question is, does she affect a Tremere that is not casting a vote? In other words, is "Abstain" an actual vote, or is it the act of not casting a vote. In the first case, any tremere that can vote must vote with Astrid when she votes. In the second case, only tremere who cast a Yes or a No vote must change to agree with Astrid. I think the latter is right, while an entire table of people I played with last night thought the former. Didn't mind too much, as I was the one with Astrid, I was the one casting a Tremere Justicar vote on Dr. John, winning easily with votes from several other tremere...but as I like to use her in my decks, I'd like to know the appropriate way to play this. -- Jeremy (bea...@netcom.com, bea...@delphi.com)

If Astrid contributes votes, than any Tremere which contributes votes must cast them in agreement with her. If that Tremere had already cast its votes, those votes are retroactively changed to be in agreement. Any given Tremere may choose not to cast its votes, if it doesn't want to vote in agreement with Astrid.
