I asked this a while back, and never saw an answer, so here's a repost
question 1:)
If felicia bum rushes Basilia using her .44 magnum to maneuver to range,
then loads dragonbreath rounds into the gun as she strikes (basilia had
no strikes, caught her at a bad time)...and so does 4 damage, 2 normal
then 2 aggravated, and blurs to do 2 additional strikes intending to burn
basilia...what i want to know, is that even possible/necessary since
when that original strike resolves , before additional strikes are played,
basilia goes into torpor...The rulebook says that is order of combat,
maneuver, declare strikes, resolve strikes, additional strikes, etc.
SO..what i want to know is **** is a vampire going to torpor from a
strike allowed to be hit by additional strikes or does the aggravated strike
resolve and thus end combat right there...i would think you cannot hit
someone once they're in torpor, but my friends thought that sounded more
reasonable than combat ending suddenly .. OK, so if it is that way, and
the orig strike puts the vamp in torpor, combat ends..what about?
question 2:)
same thing, but against gunther, who prevents the two aggravated
damage from the first
strike, and so is at 5 blood when i hit him with two more strikes of
2 normal damage, 2 aggravated damage..what happens??
does one strike resolve, he goes to torpor with 2 blood on him before the
other strike can be resolved?
or do both resolve simultaneously and he is ashed?
question 3:)
If Felicia(5), armed with her trusty .44 Magnum, is attacks Gunther (7),
who foolishly parked his coffin out in a Target Parking Lot (Haven
Uncovered) and maneuvers to range and then strikes with dodge for her
first strike , anticipating a canine hordes to destroy her gun, and
Gunther does indeed try to destroy her gun with first strike, does the dodge
cancel a first strike action,or does he kill the gun ? I've heard a dodge
cancels any strike, excepting 'combat ends' strikes, but I didn't know if
that applied to first strike or something with other effects like body of
sun....if someone dodges a body of sun, do all other participating
minions still get hit by the damage? what about retainers on the dodging
vampire, are they dodging as well that way?
thanks..

I don't think you really have a problem because the dragon breath rounds burn
the gun immediately after use...ie if you use them on the first strike, the
gun is burned and can't be used for the second or third strikes.

As soon as Basilia takes the aggravated damage, she goes to torpor, before
you get a chance to use additional strikes. You would have to use
Dragonbreath Rounds on the last strike to get all three of them; note
that if you do use them on the first strike, the gun is burned, so you will
have to find some other ranged strike to damage Basilia (assuming she prevents
the aggravated damage, and thus you get your additional strikes).

Right. Each additional strike resolves separately.

Assuming Felicia used the gun to maneuver, she must use the gun as her
first strike of the round. She cannot choose to dodge at that time.
To answer the general question, it's up in the air whether a non-first strike
dodge will beat a first strike of some kind.

I believe a dodged strike is neutralized completely, not just neutralized
for the dodging vampire, but I can't seem to find a reference, so will
check on that.
