The rules state that the last stolen blood burns the vampire. Can you play a card to steal blood off of a vampire who currently has no blood, and if so, does the vampire get burnt? If not, what happens? rob.

[ quoted text not captured ] Stealing a vampire's last blood won't burn the vampire in the full (advanced) game. It only burns him in the basic game. In the basic game, stealing X blood from an empty vampire will burn him, since you have stolen "all of the vampire's blood". -- L. It does not alter or change the rule set down in the basic game. Can you quote a rules section/page number on this?

It is in the errata to the rulebook, published in the Duelist and posted by Tom Wylie to the newsgroup: Section 21, Advanced combat/check damage In the advanced game, if a vampire steals more blood from a vampire than it has blood to give, do not burn the second vampire. Simply transfer all of its blood to the first vampire. The text version of the rulebook, with errata at the end, is available from my Web page: http://Rulemonger.Home.ML.Org [ quoted text not captured ]

In Jyhad stealing all a Vamp's blood didn't burn them, but by creating V:TES basic rules they forgot to reinsert the old rule. In Darkness Unveiled when they go over the V:TES rules line by line they add "Stealing blood: In the Advanced Game, if a vampire steals more blood from a vampire than it has blood to give, do not burn the second vampire. Transfer all the second vampire's blood to the first vampire (and ignore excess blood)."-Darkness Unveiled pg45 V:TES rules version 3.2 inserted into advanced game rules-choose strike between hand damage modifiers & long range combat. -- --------------------------------------------------------------------- pheersum inhabits the mortal shell of eric schultheis. one channels mailto://phee...@netwizards.net. nature says,"go ahead, have as many babies as you want. something will eat them." ---------------------------------------------------------------------
