Sorry, no access to a decent browser (and thus google) atm till my other computer gets fixed. I'm glad I can still get to a decent Usenet client. Pulled Fangs timing in combination with aggravated hand damage (claws) is my main concern here. I smack someone on the head with Unndead Strength at superior for 3 hand and pull out the claws. They hit me for 1 hand back. I inflict more damagae at close range, so Pulled Fangs can be played. When? And when does the damage cut in? Assuming the poor sod had 2 blood on him, dealing with 1 normal damage and 3 aggro would burn him in one case and just send him to torpor in another case. //Doc.

The strike damage: during strike resolution. The PF damage: at the end of the round (when PF is played). > Assuming the poor sod had 2 blood on him, dealing with 1 normal damage and > 3 aggro would burn him in one case and just send him to torpor in another > case. 3 aggro: wounded and 2 blood. Combat (and thus the round) ends with him unready, so PF is played. He takes one more damage and cannot heal it (since he is empty). -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. Assuming the other vamp is going to torpor from the agg damage, that would be "now". Otherwise, you have to wait until after the press step. (Same window as Taste of Vitae). > And when does the damage cut in? Except that you can't play Pulled Fangs until _after_ your 3 agg has already resolved (until it's resolved, you've neither done more damage to them, nor are you at the end of the round). So you can play it, but it won't stack on top of 3 agg already done to help burn the vampire. (IOW: Vamp with 2 blood gets hit for 3 agg. Goes to torpor, burns 2 blood to prevent destruction, is now empty. You can play PF, but it'll just do another point of non-agg damage, which the in-torpor-empty vampire ignores.) (These are, of course, the MRP text. If you play Jyhad agg rules and PF does agg and all that, things are different.) --Colin McGuigan
