Anarch Convert question follow up

After reading the original thread, I had a related question. The AC is able to employ the special text from the card before being subject to contesting. Thus all vampires have the opportunity to employ/use any special text once they are played and prior to being contested. Correct? Raille

Abilities from being played are available when played. Effects from being in play are not available if the card is contested as it is played.
