Kraken's Kiss and Primal Instinct. I'm acting. I strike Kraken's Kiss at superior. My opponent slings agg. at me. I wish to play primal instinct and then play Acrobatics at superior. Can my additional strike be steal two blood (via the canceled strike of the kraken's kiss), or has the entire combat card been canceled, not just the strike? Seems like I should be able to keep using the other kraken's kiss stuff. Like I can maneuver using a Thrown Gate then Primal Instinct and do no strike. I know there's an issue of timing (I canceled the strike of something I've already used, versus wanting to use another part of a combat card that included a strike that I've already canceled). See, cause it says cancel the STRIKE not the combat card... Sorry, just reclarifying my arguement. ~SV

Cancelling the strike cancels every aspect/effect of the strike just like a dodge from the opposing minion would. [ quoted text not captured ]

[ quoted text not captured ] If you cancel the KK, you don't get any of the effects of the KK. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. Links to V:TES news, rules, cards, utilities, and tournament calendar: http://www.white-wolf.com/vtes/

So Primal Instincts saying "cancel that strike" implies "cancel that strike card" when a card is being used to play that strike (and all other effects of that card). Yes? (this wasn't clear to me, and is only "clear" now because you said so). ~SV

[ quoted text not captured ] It cancels the strike. The parts that you want to keep are parts of the strike. They are canceled. [ quoted text not captured ]
