So, based on the ruling here: http://groups.google.com/group/rec.games.trading-cards.jyhad/msg/7b4a0293b1e288be "The damage resolution phase does not preclude other effects (like tapping a Barrens, for example). You may tap the Barrens to attempt to draw into more damage prevention, or play Aura Reading when Weather Control damage is applied (to attempt to draw Skin of Night if a Dawn Operation is in play, for example). You still cannot "interrupt" damage handling, however (you cannot burn two blood to heal and then use some effect to gain blood before burning another blood to heal the remaining third point of damage, for example)." ...of Aura Reading being usable during Damage Resolution *before* a minion attempts to a)Prevent damage and/or b)Heal damage, Lose life, Prevent destruction, it would seem that Ignore the Searing Flames (for example) would also be *playable and then usable* at DAI for the "immune to aggravated damage for the remainder of the round" effect, correct? Ignore the Searing Flames: Combat, Daimoinon/Serpentis [ser] This vampire treats all aggravated damage from the opposing minion's strike as normal damage. Only usable when the opposing minion inflicts aggravated damage on this vampire. [dai] Prevent all aggravated damage from the opposing minion's strike. [DAI] This vampire burns 1 blood to be immune to aggravated damage for the remainder of the round. Yes. More closely related to Skin of Night than to Aura Reading, but OK.
