sorry to ask these silly questions but i've kind of been given the tast of asking. 1. If two vampires have skip the set range abilities how is range established? i.e. if I block Cailean with my sniper rifle armed vampire I assume that cailean sets range as the acting vampire but that I can then choose to set the range with my sniper rifle. 2. What cards go away when you are ousted? i.e. fame, haven uncovered, etc. are in play, put there by my prey, who is then ousted...what kind of cards stay around (if any) and which don't. 3. When does faceless night tap you? i.e. I have read on the boards that a vampire who is attempting to block may not play bounce cards if faceless night is used against that vampire. Can that vampire play cards that will untap him (guard dogs, rats warning, etc.) to try and find intercept once the faceless night has been played? 4. If a vampire has no blood does the first point of aggravated damage mearly send them to torpor or burn them? What if I have carrion crows in play and use an ivory bow strike against an empty vampire? I assume the vampire takes the bow strike and goes to torpor. What if a vampire in torpor recieves a point of agravated damage? (I cannot remember how this happened but unless we played incorrectly it has happened in our group) I suppose that is all for now. I've tried to look all the questions our group has up on the errata but these either couldn't be found by me or the group simply didn't like my answers and wanted more precise answers from LSJ. anyhow... peace, scott

Once range is set, it cannot be re-set. >2. Cards you control go away. [1.3] See [1.6.2] and [1.6.3] to see how to determine control of cards. >3. Per the online rulings list, FN taps the would-be blocker when the action is successfully blocked (by any minion) or when the would-be blocker's controller declared "I don't block". >4. What if a vampire in >torpor recieves a point of agravated damage? (I cannot remember how this >happened but unless we played incorrectly it has happened in our group) If he's ready, torpor. If he's not ready (wounded), he burns. [6.4.6] Normal damage is handled first [6.4.6], so the Carrion Crows' damage would be applied (wounding him) and the Bow damage would burn him. Vampires in torpor are not ready, and will be burned by agg damage. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. Is there currently a way for a vampire to inflict aggravated damage on a different vampire in torpor? I suppose the vampire in torpor could do it to herself by taking an action modified by Daring the Dawn or something similar... Cheers, WES
