is pounce a hand strike? does the reacting vampire have to pay one blood when playing gestalt? for me the phrase "including this vampire" is not totally clear. can i let 1, 2, or 3 other bloodbrothers pay 1 blood for intercept, while the blood brother actually playing the card doens'nt pay? regards pallando ------------------------ Pounce Combat, Flight Requires a ready minion with flight Strike: strength +2 damage, and the opposing minion cannot strike for the remainder of the round (this doesn't affect the current strike resolution). If this strike is dodged, this striking minion takes 1 damage during strike resolution and the opposing minion gets an optional press. ----------------------- Gestalt Reaction, Sanguinus Choose X ready Blood Brothers you control who belong to the same circle as this reacting vampire (including this vampire). Each chosen vampire must burn a blood, or this card has no effect. +X intercept +X intercept, and this vampire may play cards as if he or she possessed all of the chosen Blood Brother's disciplines for the remainder of the action

"including this vampire" should make it clear. You choose some vampires (including this one). The chosen vampires burn a blood each. Since the reacting vampire is explicitly included in the list of chosen vampires, he must burn a blood. > > regards > > pallando > > ------------------------ > Pounce > Combat, Flight > > Requires a ready minion with flight > > Strike: strength +2 damage, and the opposing minion cannot strike for the > remainder of the round (this doesn't affect the current strike resolution). > If this strike is dodged, this striking minion takes 1 damage during strike > resolution and the opposing minion gets an optional press. > ----------------------- > Gestalt > Reaction, Sanguinus > > Choose X ready Blood Brothers you control who belong to the same circle as > this reacting vampire (including this vampire). I had read the "(including this vampire)" text as being a reminder that you can choose the reacting/modifying (for Walk of Caine) vampire if you want to. Apparently that's wrong. It would have been more clear to me if written to have 1 blood cost and "Choose X-1 ready Blood Brothers you control, other than this [reacting/acting] vampire ... +X [intercept/bleed]." ah well...
