Following a Sabbat path VS Contest: secuence question

Dear all, Is there a window for a Vampire entering into play to follow a Sabbat Path before beeing contested ? Example during my Influence Phase: - Fred the Weak is under my prey's control - I influence my own copy of that vampire and decide to put him into my ready region - Can that vampire burn a blood to follow the Path of Cain before being contested? I am asking that because of the Anarch Convert special hability ruling: "His "as he enters play" ability can be used before he enters contest if there is another one in play. This is not self-contesting.[LSJ 20080526][RTR 20180303][ANK 20211214]" I understand that the Path entering ritual takes a bit more time to organize. Thanks in advance, Rémi. Acquiring a Path is not an "as enters play" ability. The vampire will contest and there is no opportunity to give it a Path.
