Lord Ashton v Guide and Mentor

From a discussion on the discord rules channel, I stumbled across www.vekn.net/forum/rules-questions/10134-guide-and-mentor-questions?start=0#26687 which calls out a difference between the rulings on Lord Ashton's action and Guide and Mentor's action, which, as far as I know, as never been formally addressed. While very minor, it would be nice if we can get some official clarification / unification of the rulings. -- National Coordinator South Africa

The Lord Ashton ruling is incorrect. No one pressed LSJ on it, but it's clearly in conflict with his later rulings.
