#1: Scott Gomes - Anarch sneak and bleed #2: Adrian Lovelace - Not Your Mom's Stanislava #3: Chris Malec - Ashur-Uballit multiact #4: Dawn Moore - Adana and Friends #5: Jonathan Johnson - Brujah Bruise Bleed Fourth seed into the finals, and given my starting position between Dawn's Adana and Friends deck and Adrian's Stanislava deck, I felt like I had the worst seat in the finals, and wouldn't be able to do much of anything. My opening hand was some stealth and three freak drives, which i knew I would need to save for payload delivery. The only consolation prize was that I also had a Zillah's Valley in my opening hand, which allowed me to get out Ashur at the end of turn 2. a few turns later, Dawn had already gotten out Adana, and then got a second minion, that Jon backrushed into Torpor. Everyone's pool total was starting to hit 9-10 not soon after, though Scott had some really good blood management and had more than 15. I was able to get out Ashur, Damian and Yewon Ong after drwing the right combination of Governs and Villens, but I still couldn't do much because I didn't want to blow all of my Freak Drives unless I had to. Things turned around once I dropped Dreams of the Sphinx and used it for +hand size. I was able to catch Dawn without intercept and ousted her with a few governs, and expending my freak Drives. Adrian had been choking on cards he couldn't really use. He had Stanislava and Angus the Unruled, but was fighting a losing battle against Scott, who ousted him soon after. I was able to oust Jon the turn Adrian had been ousted or thereabouts, but I had used up my reserves of stealth in my hand. there were a few turns of consolidation for scott and I, but Scott had also gotten out his fifth minion and third Baron, and also had gotten out the Ministry location that gave him votes. After some back and forth, I was down to four pool, Scott was at 10, and I was very unlikely to survive another turn. I drew out Scott's votes using Ashur and Cold War, and I had drawn into enough stealth to sink a bleed for 5. Yewon Ong called Anarchist Uprising, and had a Pass through Shadow on her, which i burned to get the vote to the polls, doing 5 Damage to Scott and 3 damage to me, earning the Oust. Everyone was great and affable, and it was a delight to see old friends and meet new ones. Thanks to the NYC crew and scott for coming up to Albany to make this event as successful as it was.

fixed the event id. Also, I'm having trouble closing out the tournament on the Archon website. It keeps saying something about a duplicate on the Vekn site.
