With the current definition of of the block definition window, are cards playable "after block resolution" explicitly played before cards playable "after action resolution"? i.e. are the timing windows: - block resolution - after block resolution - after action resolution Suaku Inceptor Asian Continental Championship 興っ www.youtube.com/SuakuOz

that doesnt answer the question, as it isn't about queued combats nor the conclusion of the block resolution window which extends to all combats of the action.

Sequencing rule applies. The diagram is relevant but confusing on that point, I've updated it. Prince of Paris, France Ratings Coordinator, Rules Director

If Cat's Guidance ("after block resolution") is played in the same window as Freak Drive ("after action resolution"), does that mean that: 1. you can play "after action resolution" cards and effects before continuing the action, or 2. "after block resolution" cards and effects can be played both "after block resolution" but before "after action resolution" AND "after action resolution", or 3. you cannot play "after block resolution" cards and effects before action continues? Basically, if the action is over (not continued), Freak Drive, Cats' Guidance, Hidden Lurker etc. are played in the same window, following sequencing rule, because their timing match. If the action is continued, then Cat's Guidance and Hidden Lurker can still be played still the condition and timing is met, but not Freak Drive since the action is continuing. With that in mind: > the1andonlime wrote: > 1. you can play "after action resolution" cards and effects before continuing the action > Yes, but in that order only. For instance, Freak Drive then Momentary Delay, but not the other way round. groups.google.com/g/rec.games.trading-cards.jyhad/c/reXyybyIYX8/m/jeCyjdiZ5T4J > the1andonlime wrote: > 2. "after block resolution" cards and effects can be played both "after block resolution" but before "after action resolution" AND "after action resolution", or > Both. You can play Freak Drive, the opponent Cats' Guidance. Or the opponent plays Cats' Guidance (because you pass the impulse), then you play Freak Drive (since you get the impulse back). > the1andonlime wrote: > 3. you cannot play "after block resolution" cards and effects before action continues? > Whether the action continues or not has no impact on "after block resolution" cards: the block took place, one can play the card as soon as they get the impulse.
