Mandatory actions basic question

I have been away from the game for a long while and am still adjusting to getting back into it. This is likely not a bright question, and just standard knowledge for other players, my apologies for that. Rulebook states: "Some actions are mandatory. Any of those actions must be performed before any nonmandatory actions.... A minion required to take a mandatory action cannot perform any other action. For example, a ready vampire with no blood must hunt as a mandatory action" I took this to mean that a specific vampire must take his mandatory action (let's say hunting) before taking any non mandatory action - with that specific vampire. I am told that no- actually, the mandatory action of that one vampire must also happen before any non-mandatory actions of other vampires (for the sake of simplicity, let's say they have no pending mandatory actions). Is this correct? Obviously an empty vampire has a mandatory hunt as first action before non-mandatory, but "mandatory happens first" also has to precede any other vampires' actions? Thank you.

If any of your vampires has mandatory actions, those need to be resolved first before any of your minions can perform non-mandatory actions. You can think of it as The Beast taking over them and you, the Metuselah, not being able to steer them because of it. Finnish Politics!

If you have two or more minions with mandatory actions, they may be done in the order you choose." It doesn't say "mandatory actions of a specific vampire..."
