Name: Daemonic Possession [FN:C2, POD:DTC] Cardtype: Action Cost: 2 blood Discipline: Necromancy [nec] Choose a minion controlled by another Methuselah who has been burned since your last turn. Move the chosen minion from their owner's ash heap to your ready region with 1 blood or life, and lock them. [NEC] As above, but do not lock the chosen minion. Artist: Mark Nelson As far as I know, minions in ash heaps are never controlled. What means that the minion has to be controlled? Thanks.

Read it as per below, hopefully it makes more sense. “ Choose a minion that was controlled by another Methuselah who has been burned since your last turn. Thanks a lot, inm8 I was looking to use daemonic possession with vampires burned by Gisela Harden, The Winnower, but I see that combo doesn't work. Neither it does with Yong-Sun, Harmonist. Name: Gisela Harden, The Winnower [BL:U2] Cardtype: Vampire Clan: Harbinger of Skulls Group: 2 Capacity: 7 Discipline: aus dem FOR NEC Sabbat priscus: Gisela can burn an uncontrolled minion in your prey's uncontrolled region as a action that costs X blood, where X is the amount of blood on that card, any blood on that card is returned to your prey's pool. Artist: Christopher Shy Name: Yong-Sun, Harmonist [Sabbat:V, Promo-20040409] Cardtype: Vampire Clan: Nosferatu antitribu Group: 2 Capacity: 10 Discipline: aus ANI OBF POT THA Sabbat cardinal: Yong-Sun may burn the top card of your prey's crypt as a action. Artist: Kevin McCann

Yes, in theory this card doesn't even work, cause no such minion as stipulated by its condition can exist. Unfortunately BCP had a policy at some point that they only errata cards that come into print. Since this is necromancy card which won't see reprint (necromancy will be rolled into Oblivion in V5), I have no idea what happens to this. It should just say "minion card from another methuselah's ash heap". Smoking craters tell no tales. —Tex talks Battletech

The text was changed as part of being made available on DTC, unfortunately the wording isn’t as clear as could be. Would be good to update the text if possible (e.g. adding “that was”) as it is in print currently, so that is more clear and doesn’t rely on that the “since your last turn” applies to both when it was “controlled by another Methuselah” and to when the minion “has been burned” (I doubt if it is grammatically correct for the intended meaning). The below is the new text: > Choose a minion controlled by another Methuselah who has been burned since your last turn. Move the chosen minion from their owner's ash heap to your ready region with 1 blood or life, and lock them. > As above, but do not lock the chosen minion. > The below is the old text: > : Only usable when a minion controlled by another Methuselah has been burned since your last turn. Move that minion from his or her owner’s ash heap to your ready region, put 1 blood or life from the blood bank on the minion and tap the minion. You now control the minion. > : As above, but the minion is untapped. >
