Hello,
i'm asking here thi question just to let be visible to everyone.
Card text: If Maila is ready during your turn, you can discard a political action card to give a minion you control +1 stealth for the current action.
I want to clarify if this sits in the template "During X do Y" because the position of the comma can lead to misunderstanding.
We had a discussion in our national group due to that, the comma open the field to a different interpretation.
Waiting for any Rules.
Thanks
Camarilla Prince of Milan
Maybe I'm missing something here, but in the rules:
“During X, do Y”: The “during X do Y” template is used in several cards. When this template is used, only one Y can be done per X with this card. For instance, you may move blood from your vampire to your pool with Vessel only once per unlock phase.
And on the card text:
If Maila is ready during your turn, you can discard a political action card to give a minion you control +1 stealth for the current action
I don't see any ground for the discussion. The comma here is in exactly the same spot as in the rules.
It looks like Maila would need a different wording in order to be able to do what one might think she could do ...
Compare with Montano or Masika adv. for example:
Montano: During an action, he can burn 1 blood to give a minion you control +1 stealth.
Masika adv.: Once each action, Masika can discard a political action card to give a minion you control +1 intercept.
