Using murmur (redirect or bleed) with blood awakening (block fails or intercept) and some shenanigans like spying mission (stealth, anti redirections or extra bleed with the 5 caps), I managed to honor our mighty assamite clan with a glorious victory crushing the filthy ventrue on a very tight finals (with some off the books helps from the ministry). Holding Khabar: Glory for the right time for that extra 4 pool is crucial. Also Black Sunrise or mylan with enkil cog is really interesting. After the tourrnament, I noticed using monastery of shadows was a mistake, it should be exchanged with another dreams. Rutor's hand underperformed and should get out so you can use a aranthebes or an extra govern. The coven could be used instead of Perfectionist. Interesting. I tried something similiar recently, but with some more combat cards and Haqims Law: Retribution. Particulary interesting that you could manage without Zillahs Valleys. "My strategy? Luck is my strategy, of course."

I chose to abdicate speed in favor of consistency, avoiding cluttering my hand with those masters in the end game. They also can not be played on the 5-caps vampires. The meta was also relatively favorable, since most of our players favors mid or big cap. Govern as first action most of games helped me accelerate back a bit. Also note that the deck have possibly 9 redirections effects, being a bit defensive against bleed. The play pattern is usually influencing Ur-shulgi, then playing govern at superior and then getting more two vampires out. Play low and be ignored by the table. Then starts bleeding safe but consistently. In one table I started with dreams and 5 caps (ur shulgi did not came) accelerating the deck. In the finals, I played sudden reversal on my prey's stanislava's zillah's valley, slowing then and leveling the field. My predator was also very slow and was blocked with blood awakenings. Yes, it is sub-optimal at early game, but when you finally turn on the engines it can bring a devastating surprise to the table. I am death. Paul Kersey, Death Wish
