Hi!
The other day, a new player from a playgroup I'm part asked me a question I wasn't able to answer.
Could we build a deck, that is competitive but also cheap?
I have given it a couple of thoughts, and my guess will be a bleed deck, maybe a power bleed Giovanni (without Isabel) or a B&S Dem, but as I'm not sure I would like to propose a challenge.
To build a competitive, but also cheap deck.

I believe a "classic" weenie DEM would be competitive AND cheap. You could base yourself on this one :

And to make it realy cheap, you would need to ditch the bitter and sweet story and maybe some odd cards I am not aware of its scarcity (Last stand ?). And after that you drop all the numbers to have a 70/75 cards deck and you're fine.
I believe you will have a 30/50 € total cost if you have to buy every single card from sellers.
See vtesone.wordpress.com/2011/06/21/barbed-wire-project/ that lists "somewhat cheap (consisting mostly commons), but still playable and sturdy" decks.

Easier is to know the budget because "cheap" has a relative meaning. I think the cheapest way is to buy 2x Lasombra Sabbat deck from BC and make a stealth bleed/vote deck.
It's a really strong deck. Someone even win a tournament with just one copy of it.
Also from 2x Toreador! deck you can make a really good deck or just buy 25th and play Stanislava XD
If you are looking for other clans Link provided by Ankha is really good.

Well the decklists don't show, as they were hosted on SL. If anyone still has the lists somewhere, I'd be glad to host them on the Codex.
