Hello! Upon browsing Amaranth, I notice Helena has the following card text, on the actual card as well as the "revised" tab: "revised" Name: Helena [CE:V, BSC:X] Cardtype: Vampire Clan: Toreador Group: 3 Capacity: 10 Discipline: obf pre tha AUS CEL DOM Camarilla: While Helena is locked and ready, she can burn 1 blood to wake, but only for reaction cards requiring Auspex [aus]. +1 bleed. Artist: Rebecca Guay --- "official" Name: Helena [CE:V, BSC:X] Cardtype: Vampire Clan: Toreador Group: 3 Capacity: 10 Discipline: obf pre tha AUS CEL DOM Camarilla: If Helena is locked and ready, she can burn a blood to be able to attempt to block and/or play reaction cards that require Auspex [aus] as if unlocked for the remainder of the action. +1 bleed. Artist: Rebecca Guay --- What is this "revised" card text on Amaranth to begin with? Pending changes? Some unofficial rewording? If pending official it is quite a significant nerf unless I misread - ie, cannot wake/block without playing a [aus] reaction card?

> Some unofficial rewording? > Correct. This here is the only official card text source: www.vekn.net/images/stories/downloads/cardlist.txt "Oh, to the Hades with the manners! The revised tab card text is from here: BETA / Revised — card text that often becomes official. www.vekn.net/images/stories/downloads/vtescsv_utf8_revised.zip This is useful to spot errors in upcoming card text. The official tab text is from here: Official CSV www.vekn.net/images/stories/downloads/vtescsv_utf8.zip Amaranth Deck Building Tool : VTES NZ : VTES ANZ Facebook

It helps to pick up and correct issues in forthcoming card text / revisions. The more eyes the better. For example the revised text of Huitzilopochtli currently has a typo; this was reported by an Amaranth user; Vincent has been notified and can then correct the source file. This comes up regularly with new local players who have no idea multiple wordings exist, or that the errata is "unofficial". It is very misleading. The revised wording should be correct and equivalent to the official wording. If it is, there is no reason for the players to be confused. Prince of Paris, France Ratings Coordinator, Rules Director

Yeah, but the official wording on Amaranth is juxtaposed against unofficial card layouts. I'm therefore not sure why players would assume anything on Amaranth is official. I'd assume the opposite and that someone provided revised text and layouts for personal use.
