Just noting that the new wording of Dabbler is quite similar to the updated text for Perfectionist, so this may also be an unintended change from trying to unify the wording of the two cards.
Either way, some clarification on this would be appreciated.

No comment on the rewording of this card. However 224 cards were changed in the latest CSV file. Most of the changes appear to be just template changes moved from the revised text file.

I'm not sure if it was intended that dabbler could be used while reacting in the first place.. I certainly didn't realize it could. I always assumed it referred to performing the action yourself, as most other archetypes.

It is a mistake. It should read "after an action during which they used 3 or more Disciplines to play cards is performed (successful or not)".

To be honest I would prefer the latest printed version to be the final and official one. It nerfs the card, sure, but it's just 100% the clearest and easiest way to have the text which is in cards be official (unless it's crippling or contains typos).
It's unfortunate, but tolerable.

Why nerf a card that its not breaking the game?
Unlike other Archetypes this dont work without you play a card, usually 3 cards or 2 with dual disciplines and in very narrow cases, a anarch 3way card.
Monster can be used in other players turns, Capitalist and Perfectionist too ( with Enkil kog or similar ) thats nothing broken with Dabller to justify this nerf.

Perhaps worked too good with anarch aus cel for card ? It still can be used with cog or madness. It's sad, because i liked the card, and considered playing it,but after the nerf, it's useless in deck i envisioned it to work.

I didn't know that. I took it out of a deck I was dabbling with.
Vtes has 1000s of ways to lose and i still need to cross a few off.
