self biased

The overall idea is to basically give a boost to clans that don't have a unique discipline, or have their unique discipline basically be the town bicycle. This would help impart greater thematic flavor to these clans, despite their lack of a unique discipline. for example: while this doesn't really affect any thaumaturgy cards, it does allow for tremere to use their blood magic to aid a few key Dominate cards. thoughts and/or ideas?

Ankha

Older, but by how much? Does it affect capacity? What if the two players use that card, who is older? Prince of Paris, France Ratings Coordinator, Rules Director

Concept is golden, and opens doors for the different blood magics (Assamites alone have different variants on DuAnKi and Sihr, the Tzimisce have their koldunic stuff, theres ogham, Sadhana, and Setites Anku and Nahuallotl. Also, is really like 8ish different things. That's ignoring Abyss mysticism Dark Thaum, and more. But the card is not great, and would frankly be wallpaper.

I like the concept. In fact, with V5 seemingly consolidating several disciplines (Serpentis into Protean, Dementation into Dominate, etc) this may be the way going forward, if VTES is going to follow metaplot events.

I really do have an elaborate mechanical summary that I'll post with the metaplot stuff. I'm just try to edit out more of my angry social commentary and anti-politicking before I post. Keeping real world politics out of parts of the game it has no business being in angers me, so I'm trying to aim at less bias more "point and facepalm " before posting, as it's more an issue to content mass of the book than a particular mechanic choice.

I would rather see cards usable by anyone who has the required discipline(s) but give a bonus to a specific clan like Aire of Elation. I also think it would be better in some cases to require a difficult to achieve discipline combination for anyone other than that clan's vampires. Example: A card requiring basically necessitates Nos/!Nos but it isn't locked to their clan. Gangrel. Noddist. Camarilla. Once each turn, LivesByProxy may burn 1 blood to lose Protean until the end of the turn and gain your choice of superior Auspex , Obfuscate , or Potence for the current action.

The parts I'm clipping are nominally about how culturally you apparently have to over-emphasize that people aren't really supernatural creatures of the night every few pages or you assume liability for people who cant figure that out after the first 2 times its said. Shame. Could a added a whole extra chapter. I'll post it in a few days. Still trying to find a few more good things to say about the systems for dramatic pacing, but trying to get the math in to support it for hunger/rouse stuff. (Because I initially wrote it angry at how much digging and jumping I had to do to find out what happened to create new status quo)

I don't really see much benefit of this over just making them clan-requirement cards without the discpline instead, which there is plenty of example already (especially in many cards that should be necromancy requiring Giovanni instead)
