Nice!
Especially the rulings list. I hope you guys don't mind me asking clarifications for some of these here instead of doing topics of their own.
Clarification:
"Nephandus is in combat, opposing minion plays Dark Steel, and maneuvers to long range to wave. Does the Nephandus (2 life) burn?
Yes. The damage from Dark Steel is environmental."
Why? Dark Steel deals damage only at close range. There was a manouver to long to wave. Why does the Nephandus burn?

Great newsletter and great information about Lackey VTES online. One piece of information I feel important to correct is when Igor said you can only play Lackey on PC or Android. You can also play Lackey on a Mac. I play on my Macbook all the time. I was also surprised that the link to the Lackey VTES plugin download and the Lackey program download are not included. They are:
lackeyccg.com/
and
www.lackeyccg.com/vtes/
Thanks for the newsletter!

Seconding this. If this is true I need to revisit my fighting Lasombras before nationals hit..
Henrik Klippström, please edit the Igor reply about what platforms Lackey runs. Currently Lackey run over Windows, MAC, iPad and Linux (with emulator). No Android support yet.

That one slipped through.
Dark Steel cannot be used to maneuver to long range (but the maneuver could have come from another card, we do not know), and Dark Steel only inflicts damage at close range. So the answer is: no, the Nephandus does not burn.

Yes, I removed the question. Don´t know if Pascal ruled wrong or just wrote wrong in his notes.

Hi! I added this in Igors answer now.

From the newsletter:
"• A very special surprise product will appear early in October. Watch out for that announcement!"
My guess is that this could be about the new Starter Set.
Especially since the BCP guys mentioned at Ropecon GP that something would be happening this year.

Ben Peal did mention that a couple of months ago, can't remember where exactly.

But since surprises are surprising, maybe its the Promo stuff seeing real print?
Look, I just need freak drives, eyes of argus, and deep songs to come in mass quantities and be bundled with AU and TU vamps I'm waiting on real cards of to replace the printer paper ones. But I severely doubt that's the surprise product.......

You lost me there mate.
AFAIK all promo "stuff" has been actual printed cards, right?
Are you referring to the PDF cards or something else entirely?

The storyline rewards cards, specifically the dozen ish vamps, as they are frankly cooler than the lone library card.
Apparently it's the inclusion of Montano, The Capuchin, Mithras, The Dracon, and Lord Tremere as cards available for print as part of a Humble Bundle.
However, I just bought the bundle, and all I have available currently is a PDF of them with a different set symbol. Hoping BC clarifies how this is supposed to work, as I'm not seeing an option to order the printed versions currently.

Wow, it really is the promos...
Anyway, I'm not sure how this works;
You pay $8 or more to get it, but how do you get 2?
Also, unrelated to Vtes, but I have the Clan Novels and the "anthology" (14th book), which is solid and not exactly hard to come by. I'd be more enticed by digital or physical compilation of DA novel cycle (which are quite hit and miss to acquire physically) than most of what's in there book wise.
Anyway, BC guys, how do the HumbleBundle cards work?

Right, I admit my estimate was totally incorrect.
Wow!
A total 180 degree turn in how promos are traditionally distributed in this game! With the exception of the first ever promo that came with a book, or rather coupon with which you could get that promo, and the subsequent planned one which never materialized, there has traditionally not been promos available only through purchase of something else (at least cards that weren't included in the actual sets or widely distributed promo kits and such).
This being said, I HOPE that this is just a marketing ploy to get cards out to potential future players to pique interest in this excellent game of ours. And as that the distribution method can be forgiven (since apparently you were supposed to get a coupon for Drivethru I think that the shipping costs outside USofA will again be rather steep...)
I actually haven't yet looked into this promotion/product yet, but I guess it is only temporay offer.
Which will put the future players/those who miss it now at disadvantage, but I kinda understood from a FB message that these cards might/will be in future BCP Bundle or somesuch. But for compleatists these have different set symbol.
I hope we won't have any of those "attendance promos for events" (Anthology was enough so that we could get the game back to print).

Fork out another $8 or more?

The main issue will be when proxies will not be legal anymore and either you have this (from USA to europe) or you can't play those vampires
Lurking in the underground of Bologna, Italy
Ok, got the email with discount link for the printed cards (attached to the Humble Bundle).
Really hoping drivethrucards manages to figure out some form of EU-friendly shipping at some point -- since the shipping here is $15. It's a flat sum, seems to be the same at least for 1-3 packs, so if anyone (else) wants these it makes sense to order a bunch at the same time, at least if you're outside the U.S.
So for Finland, it came out to about $9 + $15 = $24 for 3 packs. That's 0,80 per card, which is not totally horrible -- but it's annoying that 2/3 of that cost is from shipping.
Oh well, it's very nice to be able to get print versions of these in any case
