Tournaments map?

I just noticed a tournament map on top of the screen, below the vekn pdf expansions bar. I have no idea did I misclick something that made it visible or is this a new addition? I tried to look for a way to disable it but I couldnt find anything. Can someone shed some light on this matter? I'd prefer that its visibility would be voluntary (in profile preferences) or that it would be accessed via a separate link in the main menu, as its almost completely useless, visible on every page and makes me scroll down slightly further on every page. It may not look like much but its very intrusive. Due to lack of better options I used adblocker to block the element, but I get the feeling that something more subtle could be done here. I added it this morning. It wasn't supposed to appear above the forum (only the home page), but I left it to see how people would react. The map was already accessible through the "Google map" link on the Event Calendar page, but almost noone noticed it. I'll see if it's possible to make it optional.
