3rd Töölö Grand Ball Helsinki, Finland March 19th, 2017 2R+F 12 players, Standard constructed Winner: Tommi Hakomaa www.vekn.net/event-calendar/event/8617 This was the third of my tournaments but the first one as a prince myself. Unlike the month before, there was no need to look for a bigger venue but the 12 players fit quite nicely in our apartment. My impression of the tournament was that there were fewer heavy bleed decks than usual and more voting. Animalism and Gangrels were a big hit, with three out of the five final decks using them to a greater or lesser degree. The gap in points between the finalists and the rest was quite clear. The seeding for the final was as follows: Matias Frosterus Tommi Hakomaa Marko Saari Jukka Pasanen Lauri Salmi The final seemed to be quite exciting and everybody survived almost until the time ran out. In the end, it was Tommi's weenie Animalism deck that took the trophy. We will provide us with a deck list and possibly also a more in-depth analysis of the final match, and perhaps of the tournament as a whole, too. 2 votes (titled) of Helsinki

The decks were as follows: 1.Matias Frosterus - disciplineless weenie Gehenna anti-Gangrel breeders 2.Tommi Hakomaa - weenie animalism with Anarch Revolts 3.Marko Saari - Tremere Dominate with some Obfuscate and Mind Rapes 4.Jukka Pasanen - Anarch anti-Toreador stealth bleed using Chimerstry 5.Lauri Salmi - Stanislava My Veil of Darkness spoiled lots of things including giving Tommi the oust by foiling Famed Stanislava's Earth Meld. Unfortunately I was unable to draw the rest of my discipline hate event package in the finals.

"Veil of Darkness spoiled lots of things" Indeed it did. We didn't win because of Veil of Dorkness: Jukka Lauri Marko

Are we going to get the deck list for this? -- National Coordinator South Africa

Indeed, a TWD without any deck list is like a unicorn without a horn. Prince of Paris, France Ratings Coordinator, Rules Director

You need to give Tommi another gentle nudge about this... Finnish Politics!

Unfortunately, we won't be getting the list because he has deleted it and dismantled the deck 2 votes (titled) of Helsinki

He can't even try to throw some semblance of it together? I can at least tell you half the cards in any deck I play a tournament with, based on what people tell me the crypt was like and what I did. Even if it's " you walled and govern bleed with owain and blackhorse" i can think up something.....
