Question, player A play a Vessel, player B play Wash, player A plays another Vessel. Did player A gain trifle bonus from second Vessel and can play another master card? Yes, the player gains another master phase. This is fairly clear from the wording of the clause in the rule book: A Methuselah can gain only one master phase action from trifles in a given master phase. 1. Trifle played, cancelled by Wash (clause not triggered). 2. Wash gives another master phase. 3. Another trifle is played and player gains another master phase (clause now triggered).
