Malkavian Prophecy Requires: or Bleed. During this action your hand size is increased by 4 and you do not replace cards played until the end of the action. If this bleed action is successful, this vampire takes 1 damage for each card you must discard or gains 1 blood for every card you draw. At the end of the action, if you would draw cards this vampire gains 1 blood for each card you draw. If you would discard cards, this vampire takes 1 damage for each card discarded. WoD Reference: Malkavians are sometimes gifted (cursed) with prophecies (madness) or visions (hallucinations.) Game need: I wouldn't call it a "compelling" game need, but it's a high risk/reward card. This makes a good lunge card, too early and your prey will just let you eat the damage. It's only dangerous when there is a serious risk of being ousted by the bleed. Independent Futurist. Contrarian (titled, X votes where X is the number of votes as the acting minion.) Target Vitals is always the better combat card.

" If this bleed action is successful, this vampire takes 1 damage for each card you must discard or gains 1 blood for every card you draw." I don't really understand this part. First, the "or" part gives you the choice between taking damage and gaining blood. I would definitively choose to gain blood (even 0). Then, how do you draw cards during the action if cards are not replaced? Except by using external draw sources (Dreams of the Sphinx for instance), there's no natural way so I wonder what you meant. Sorry, "or" usually indicates a choice in v:tes, lemme fix that Independent Futurist. Contrarian (titled, X votes where X is the number of votes as the acting minion.) Target Vitals is always the better combat card.
