Maybe I have missed something, but I haven't seen even one copy of Cybele in Genoa. Banning of the red star worked? NC Russia

I lend my Girls deck two times during EC (for Day 1 and Day 2). I also managed to enter the finals during French Nationals. You still see them, but not as much as before.

Or people are finally bored with it..... We are out 2 cards that were good in every other archetype, and still have the looming possibility of MMPA spamming since we never fixed the problem. Erratta or 4 more bans has to happen to neversee it again tthough. Rules that only one non-trifle source can give additional MPA a turn, or change Aksynia to remove card from game instead of discard and add the word "minion" between 13 and cards on tablets .... Or ban Cybele, Aksynia, Parthenon, and villein. For now, be glad its unpopular I guess.....

I guess this deck archetype got less effective without Anthelios. It seems to be the same with Anson Cel Gun (and is true for Anson Tap & Bleed), though I've seen that deck one or two times, too. Only Nana turns out to be as effective as before (though the archetype changed slightly). National Coordinator Germany nc [dot] germany [at] magenta [dot] de

Also Nephandi took a huge hit with Anthelios ban. About Girls, I have a new version to test and refine. It is much faster and aggressive then the usual archetype.. Or far worse.

Ashur

Did not meet or even see either Girls nor Nephandi at the EC. And I don´t miss them alot "My strategy? Luck is my strategy, of course."

Ankha

I had one in prey on round 3 of day 2, and I nearly managed to pass him using Revelation of Ecstasy (that taps and put a corruption counter, I played a Nakhthorheb deck). Unfortunately, he managed to stay always out of reach Prince of Paris, France Ratings Coordinator, Rules Director

They were present too.

Or is it just one good deck amongst many - along with Arika, weenie Dementation, Ravnos clowncars, grinders, good gun decks etc? If the latter, you don't really need to remove it from the game permanently. If the former, it would be interesting to see detail of the problem(s) you're seeing.

James, I'll let you know after origins next year. Girls was never edge explosion imbued level nonsense, but girls is still viable and annoying in my book without anthelios and Lilith's Blessing. To be fair, imbued table poison is still viable without edge explosion and memories of mortality, but with both decks you play an annoying slow dying deck with the table not liking you. Nana and Anson will always be able to do other stuff than spam Ashurs and liquidation, so maybe if popularity wanes on girls we get to see interesting mmpa based combat again? I know my Anson second trad n guns is safer the less AAA decks seem easy to win with. I hate bans, I favor erratta and want physical cards printed. Didn't I just see a Nephundi gargoyles deck win in Brazil? Anthelios was a good booster for "requires X Gehenna cards in play" stuff, so I'm still trying to gauge the impact there.

I can get the context to some degree here (MMPA) but what is a girls deck?
