419 Operation with no counters

419 Operation +1 stealth action. Put this card in play. During your untap phase, you may move 1 pool from your prey's pool to this card or move the pool on this card to your pool. Your prey can burn the Edge to move the counters on this card to his or her pool and burn this card. Does the wording in te last sentence indicate, as I would guess, that if there is no counter your prey cannot burn the edge to burn the card? If he CAN burn the Edge to burn the counters AND this card, and there are no counters, can he burn the edge? No valid target etc etc

You can burn the Edge to get back the counters (that is 0 of them) and burn the card, even if there are no counters. Theft of Vitae can steal 0 blood. Villein can bring back 0 pool (if the vampire is empty). Prince of Paris, France Ratings Coordinator, Rules Director
