What happens if I play the 3. Ashur tablets and takes a crypt card in hand?
If its an imbued, can I use piper to recruit him?

Ashur tablets
Master
Put this card in play. If you have three copies in play, remove all copies in play (even controlled by other Methuselahs) from the game to gain 3 pool and choose up to thirteen cards from your ash heap. Move one of those cards to your hand and shuffle the others into your library.
Piper
Master. Requires a ready anarch.
A ready untapped anarch you control employs or recruits a retainer or ally from your hand (requirements and cost apply as normal). This is not an action and cannot be blocked. Tap that anarch.
You can't move crypt cards to your hand.

There must also be a reference somewhere in the rules or rulings.

Iv look though the rules again and again and I cant find anything about crypt cards in your hand.
Also we do have precedence fro crypt card being e.g. in your uncontrolled area.
This actully brings me to another question. Do an Embrace, which have been made a vampire still be a vampire in ash heap?
E.g. can I tak a burned Embrace from the ash heap to my hand ??

Via a card that does that (Sargon Fragment, Ashur's Tablets, Carlotta, ..), yes.

no reference in the rules/rulings that we could find [with years of lets break VTES] - please can we add it into the rules [it's fundamental]
