Some interesting stats from Origins 2011: - We had 71 players attend this year, a record!!! - 49 of the 71 (69%) players got at least 1GW - 24 got 1GW - 11 got 2GW - 8 got 3GW - 4 got 4GW - 1 got 6GW - 1 got 7GW - There were 132 games played, 101 (77%) of which had GWs - Of the games that had no GW: - 10 out of 31 were non-timeout ties, 21 (68%) were timeouts - Of the 21 timeouts, 20 (95%) were at a 5-player table Kevin M., Prince of Las Vegas "Know your enemy and know yourself; in one-thousand battles you shall never be in peril." -- Sun Tzu, *The Art of War* "Contentment...Complacency...Catastrophe!" -- Joseph Chevalier Please visit VTESville daily! vtesville.myminicity.com/ Facebook: www.facebook.com/groups/129744447064017

Interesting stats, Kev! > KevinM wrote: > - Of the 21 timeouts, 20 (95%) were at a 5-player table > I don't think this one really means anything. If there were 95% of 5-player tables, then it means 4-player tables timeout as often as 5-player tables. Do you have the % of 4-player tables timing out, and of 5-player tables timing out?

Were there any telling deck archetypes turning up? I'd suspect that those tables with timeouts may have had a number of vote decks... is there any connection? In our social games the games that take waaay too long and get nowhere are those with a vote deck without vote-lock and usually vote-jammed by prey or pred (e.g. non-vote deck with 4+ votes as a prey and a number of other votes scattered on the table) Retired Baron of Sydney, Australia, 418
