In many cases, if you're able to deal aggravated damage, the opposing vampire will go to torpor. It only changes the deal if your opponent has prevent, or a dodge, or a combat ends (which can happen quite often, but there's also plenty of cases when you run dry of such cards), but you can't play it during your own turn and it eats a master phase action. It is good because people do not expect it in the current metagame, but too many out-of-turn master cards can cause quite a hand jam. Playing 1-2 in blocky decks with easy access to aggravated damage is great, though. I find the card particularly good for breaking down resistant superstar wall decks like Goratrix or Nadima, grinders, and decks that count on using majesty when you block them. You may want to play eagle sight in order to improve the odds of using it against the vamp you want to take out.
