I played Carrion Crows in Combat and a thrown gate, and both were blocked by a card that stated all strikes First strike cancel strikes.... does that include carrion Crows?

Carrion Crows is not a strike, and cannot be "canceled" (dodged?) by Strike: Dodge or other strike-affecting effects.
Can you clarify your question by providing the specific cards in play?
"First Strikes" don't cancel "Strikes".
When resolving strikes, always resolve, in order:
- Strike: Combat ends (which cause pending strikes to be discarded)
- First Strikes
- Normal strikes
If a First Strike somehow ends a combat (send opponent to torpor; diablerize opponent; burn opponent; or do something similar to your minion), then the normal strike step is skipped, and you move to the end of combat.
Carrion Crows' damage is applied during normal strike resolution, regardless of the strikes chosen by opponents.
